    Job Description

    Engineer will support the testing of simulators used in the development and qualification of tactical control systems.  The testing will follow formal requirement-based test methods.  The position includes test planning, test writing and test execution.  Most systems under test are developed by our department in a collaborative environment.  Responsibilities will include working with systems engineers to develop system requirements, developing qualification test procedures, and executing test procedures.

    Education/ Experience

    Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

    1. A BS in Engineering. Electrical Engineering is preferred, however other engineering degrees will be considered
    2. Four years of engineering experience
    3. Current DOD Secret clearance or higher required

     

    Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

    1. Formal test experience
    2. Familiarity with Electric Boat system engineering processes and technical directives
    3. DOORS experience
    4. Continuous improvement mindset

    Skills

    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
    • Highly organized and attention to detail
