For S1B Propulsion Plant Fluids Department, Manning/Integrated Reactor Plant Test Group - Multi-tasked individual who will:
(1) Develop and implement new construction test plan for the S1B reactor, steam and electric plant.
(2) Develop new construction reactor and steam & electric plant test procedures.
(3) Assist in developing the S1B Reactor Plant Manual (RPM) and Steam & Electric Plant Manual (SEPM).
(4) Assist in adjudicating all operations and maintenance to be performed by ships force by: participating in S1B arrangement team meetings, facilitating Fleet interactions and providing input for submittals which include actions for ships force.
Specific responsibilities include: coordinating the development, review and approval of CLB Class steam and electric plant test procedures ensuring procedures are developed in accordance with approved guidelines and test index along with maintaining schedule adherence in support of downstream activities.
Looking for self-starter who can motivate multi-departmental and/or organizational teams to complete tasks on time and within budget.
Possess the ability to effectively communicate with outside agencies including Naval Reactors, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, and Naval Nuclear Laboratory.
Computers skills: Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Project, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
Previous VIRGINIA Class Submarine Qualification/Experience as Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW), Engineering Watch Supervisor (EWS), or shipyard STE/CTE desired.
