Engineer position in the Maintenance Planning Engineering group in Life Cycle Engineering. Employee will be required to develop new or modify existing maintenance requirements for submarine systems and components for all classes, and manage the development/markup of the associated maintenance products. This includes conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses to identify the most applicable and effective maintenance, who should conduct it and how often it needs to be completed. The resulting products include, but are not limited to, Construction PM Specs, Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Requirement Cards, Maintenance Index Pages, Maintenance Standards, and Unrestricted Operations Inspections (URO).
This position requires constant interface with other Engineering disciplines, Shipyard personnel, Navy personnel, technical writing personnel, Program Management, and Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) personnel.
