    Job Description

    D442 SWFTS Systems Engineering and Integration Group (C4ISR Systems Integration and Engineering D442) requires an engineer to assist in Requirements Analysis, Network Development, Cybersecurity, System Engineering, Information Assurance and System Test efforts related to contractor furnished as well as Government furnished combat and network systems.

     

    Engineers are required to lead or assist in the Network and System Engineering efforts ranging from initial system and component design through development, hardware/software integration, component qualification, test, construction support, delivery and post-delivery to include analysis and resolution of fleet identified problems.   

     

    This position will require that the engineer perform technology investigations and trade-studies, identify/resolve risks and validate methods to ensure producible end products. The candidate will also be required to interface with NAVSEA, Government vendors and other EB Departments. 

    Education/ Experience

    Required:

    Bachelor of Science degree in engineering is required. 

    Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to interface with both internal and external customers is required. 

     

    Preferred:

    BSEE preferred, will consider BS Computer Engineering, BS System Engineering or with relevant experience. 

    Experience with Information Assurance/ Cybersecurity is also preferred. 

    Project management experience is preferred. 

    Skills

    Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills and the ability to function independently are required.  Candidates must be highly motivated team players.
