Job Description

For Les McLlarky, Program Representative needed for the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) COLUMBIA Program Office team to manage the procurement of the R fixture and transportation & stowage fixture (TSF). Job assignments will include schedule & budget development, programmatic oversight and tracking of the fixture procurement process, including management of the associated funding process and contracting.

Education/ Experience

Required

  • BS degree in Engineering
  • 3 years of professional experience working in a Program Office

Preferred

  •  BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of professional experience, including working in a Program Office
  • Previous ITAR, PSA and TCP experience
  • Experience with international submarine programs
  • Overall knowledge of shipyard operations and construction processes
  • Ability to communicate with personnel at all organizational levels

Skills

  • The desire to learn, grow and lead 
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, communication skills and project management skills
  • Self-starter 
  • Strong oral and written skills are needed as well as organizational and planning skills 
  • Maintain a professional demeanor under stressful situations
  • Experience on Submarine design and Navy experience on submarines are a highly desired capability.
  • Project management and team leadership experience including experience with EVMS and Artemis scheduling
  • Must have high energy, excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills, as well as a desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
