Job Description

Program Representative position for the COLUMBIA (CLB) Program Office Management Team reporting to the Manager of Program Administration.  Job assignments will be varied and will include managing prime contract incentives and contract adherence by EB subcontractors (such as HII-NNS); representing the CLB Program Administration Manager as a government liaison; developing program guidance documents, Memorandum of Agreements, contractual documents and other program related documents; schedule and budget development of program efforts; progress metric development and monitoring; conducting program-level meetings with senior EB Management and Navy personnel; managing performance of various program vendors including Newport News; as well as day-to-day administrative duties. Applicants must be able to travel regularly between New London, Groton, and Quonset Point. Applicants must be able to travel periodically to EB Washington Engineering Office, Newport News Shipbuilding - Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, VA., and Washington Navy Yard

Education/ Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Management and Engineering for Manufacturing, Management Information Systems)
  • Ten plus years experience.

 

Preferred:

  • Ten plus years business or engineering leadership experience.
  • Previous program management experience.
  • Recent US Armed Forces experience is highly desirable, US Navy experience preferred. 
  • Masters Degree

Skills

  • Must have practical experience in accomplishing multiple tasks with minimum guidance; have strong organizational and communication skills; experience in developing policies and procedures; and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (incl. MS Access).  
  • Detailed knowledge of EB, US Government (Navy organizations, Strategic Systems Programs, etc.) and US Submarine operating forces is a plus.
